Manztek Sponsors the 5th Anniversary Celebration of Jinan University
1. Event Highlights
On July 27, the Alumni Football Team of Jinan University’s School of Information Science and Technology held a grand 5th-anniversary celebration at the university’s main campus field.
As a member of the Alumni Enterprise Alliance of Jinan University’s School of Information Science and Technology, Manztek served as the exclusive sponsor of this milestone event.
The celebration was attended by Lu Jianmin, former Party Secretary of the School of Information Science and Technology, and Luo Guowei, the current Party Secretary, who joined as team leaders. Captain Luo Jinlong and numerous alumni players participated in this memorable gathering.
The club also invited Chen Ning, a renowned Guangdong TV host and football commentator, to serve as an honorary advisor.
On the field, players wore commemorative jerseys featuring the Manztek logo, showcasing their skills and teamwork in an exhilarating match that perfectly concluded the anniversary festivities.
As the sole sponsor, Manztek provided strong support for the event’s organization and execution. Wu Mingwei, founder of Manztek, and Fu Rong, a company partner—both alumni of Jinan University’s School of Information Science—also attended the event.
As active members of the Alumni Alliance, they have consistently promoted communication and collaboration among alumni and between alumni enterprises.
2. The Origins
Notably, the connection between Manztek and Jinan University began even before the company’s founding. During his studies in Electronic Engineering at Jinan University, Wu Mingwei, the founder of Manztek, conducted research on infrared audio technology under the guidance of his mentor.
In 2009, Manztek was established, and Wu’s team—with the support of their professor—developed the company’s first-generation infrared audio products, primarily targeting overseas markets. These products gained popularity in Europe, the U.S., Japan, and Southeast Asia.
Later, with the addition of Fu Rong, Xu Neng (Wu’s classmates), and other partners, Manztek expanded into the domestic market, where its infrared audio solutions were widely adopted in classroom teaching environments.
To date, Manztek has partnered with thousands of schools and training institutions across China, establishing itself as a leading developer and manufacturer of infrared wireless audio equipment.
The company has been recognized as a National High-Tech Enterprise, a Specialized and Sophisticated SME (Little Giant), a Gazelle Enterprise, and more.
