The sounding principle of a loudspeaker

A crucial piece of equipment in an audio system is the loudspeaker, which generally consists of a speaker unit and an enclosure. The speaker unit acts as the sound-generating component, while the enclosure, as a supplement to the speaker unit, serves to modify the sound.

The sound-producing principle of the speaker unit is a conversion of electrical energy into sound. When varying electronic energy is transmitted to the coil, the coil generates energy that interacts with the magnetic field of the magnet. This interaction causes the paper cone to vibrate. Since the electronic energy changes constantly, the speaker's coil moves forward or backward, and accordingly, the speaker's paper cone moves with it. These movements create changes in the density of the air, thereby producing sound.
