The rise of hybrid and remote learning has highlighted the importance of robust classroom audio systems. When part of a class is present in person and others join online, ensuring that all students hear clearly becomes a top priority. Audio technology tailored for educational settings helps bridge the communication gap.
Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) Case : Classroom Sound Reinforcement with Manztek Infrared Wireless Audio Systems
Since 2018, Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) has been utilizing Manztek infrared wireless audio systems for its classroom sound reinforcement needs. To date, over 80 sets have been installed, with an additional 20+ sets soon to be deployed.
As a new-generation research university, SUSTech emphasizes innovation and interactivity in classroom design, placing students at the center of learning. In these open, discussion-based classrooms, where teachers and students engage in dynamic exchanges, a key challenge arises: How can multiple participants communicate effortlessly without raising their voices?
To address this, Manztek’s IR-601 Intelligent Infrared Wireless Sound Reinforcement Solution was implemented. This system supports six microphones and one page-turning pen operating simultaneously—a feat currently unique to Manztek in the industry. It perfectly meets the demand for seamless, interference-free audio interaction in classrooms.
Featured Product: Manztek IR-601 Intelligent Infrared Wireless Receiver
